Issue relates to organisation of information within a complex project so as I can work on it easily. I've tried structuring it several different ways but keep running in to problems. Related issues with plan sections (establish one for the GF say, but lose it when creating a second for the FF), importing CAD files and merging secondary files (sk file mailed separately)

In progress solar study to investigate potential for PV panels (sk file to dropbox) and need advice on settings. UTC - is this the only location setting, no latitude refinement, how can LA be the same as Vancouver ? Also typically set the ground plane 6" below walls, otherwise get overlapping planes and mish mash of colours. Avoids this but greenish hue to shadows - any tips to refine animation appearance for present ? Also can I drop the animation into a powerpoint or keynote presentation ?

I would like to review the advanced camera tools to see how they can be used to accurately simulate the human field of view and focal length. I'm interested in how to apply this to street level viewing of buildings. I would also like to know how to set up to simulate an accurate field of view in motion as if driving in a car looking out of the windshield.

I would also like to know whether the solar study animation can be saved in another format (quicktime ?) to share with non sketch up colleagues

Model a house from an image?Cool, very tricky and very good piece of technological advancement. Whoever is the brain behind this one should be applauded. - Paul E. Perito
